A quality educational and social experience for children of low- to moderate- income families ages birth to 5 years, and expectant mothers.

Head Start provides a classroom environment for children of low-income families who are three years of age, and four years of age by September1. The program also provides educational experiences to families, which help them raise successful children.

Children are provided various cognitive, affective, and motor skill development experiences in both large and small group settings. This encourages them to develop socially, intellectually, physically, and emotionally in a manner appropriate to their age and stage of development.
