Calhoun Great Start Collaborative strives to create opportunities for members of our community to advocate for our children. This year, we are partnering with Early Childhood Connections and United Educational Credit Union to hold a local event, Dia del Niño - Connecting with Families on April 30th at the Calhoun Area Career Center. This fun-filled family event will include activities from the Binder Park Zoo and Critchlow Alligator Sanctuary, as well as informational opportunities for families to learn about the programs and services available in our community. We are pleased to announce that legislators and other elected officials will also attend so that families and community members will have the opportunity to share stories and advocate for their children and early childhood initiatives in Calhoun County! Please join us from 5:30pm - 7:30pm on April 30, 2012 for our local STAR POWER Celebration - Dia del Niño - Connecting with Families
