community you would like your funds to go towards, and

The Walk for Warmth
is an annual fundraising event sponsored by Community
Action Agency. It raises funds
to help low-income, elderly, and disabled residents stay

noted, Walk Registration begins at 9:00 a.m., Opening
Ceremonies begin at approximately 9:30 a.m., and one-
and three-mile outdoor Walk Events begin at 10:00am.

Warmth Important?
Funds raised are used to
help those who have fallen on hard times, keep their
heat on during the winter. Last year, CAA helped
hundreds of individuals and families throughout Barry,
Branch, Calhoun, and St. Joseph counties stay warm.
Who Receives Walk for Warmth Funds?
Low-income, elderly, and
disabled residents in your community.
Does the Money I Raise Really Help My Neighbors?
Yes! Funds raised in a
community are used to help residents of that community
only.
Who Should Participate in the Walk for Warmth?
Everyone willing to turn
their warm heart into a warm home!
How Can I Participate in the Walk for Warmth?
Participate in your local
walk by collecting pledges, recruiting friends and
family, and forming a team! If you are unable to
participate in the walk, but still want to help, please
mail in your donation or drop it off at
your local CAA office.
How Can I Make Sure CAA Receives My Contribution?
To ensure that CAA receives
your contribution, make checks payable
to “CAA Walk for Warmth” and designate the community to
which you would like your donation credited. You can
mail your contribution check straight to your local CAA
office, or use it to sponsor a participant. For your
safety, please do not sponsor participants with cash,
especially if you do not know them.
Who Sponsors the Walk for Warmth?
The Walk for Warmth would
not be possible without the generous support of area
organizations and businesses. If your organization or
business is interested in becoming a sponsor, please
